The Beginning

We started as Covenant Chapel in 1995. The name was given because all those in the church at that time did not have the papers of Canada, therefore there was a concern about the survival of the church.  So that the church will not become extinct, the name Covenant Chapel was given.  The church has not only survived but has birthed many churches.

The Journey

The church moved to her present place of worship in 2001 and it has experienced growth. We are a Christian community that passionately preach the word of God with Jesus Christ as our central theme. Our focus is to bring about positive change within and outside the Church by touching lives with our message of hope. Indeed, there is hope! This is why our community is a place where “Destiny is Redeemed and Dominion Restored”.

Though we are blessed by fair diversity of worshipers, our focus is to prepare the true church for the coming of our Lord Jesus where all nations will be represented to lift His name in high praises.

The Transformation

Sometime around 2019, looking at the vision and the height that God intended for His church, God kept nudging about a name change.  Based on the reasoning behind the name - survival, the limit upon the growth of the church had to be removed.  On January 1st 2020 at about 6:05AM, the name “TKC” was called out of the names being considered and an explanation of the name was given - “this is not about a church but everyone that is a member becomes my covenant carrier.”

This covenant was then validated in the book of Jeremiah 32:37-41: "Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them in My anger, in My fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely. 38 They shall be My people, and I will be their God; 39 then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them. 40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me. 41 Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul.’ NKJV

We are excited to have you in TKC.
